This course follows the standards of Yoga Alliance. The intention is to provide elementary yoga education to the students. Successful completion of the course will allow students to conduct beginner yoga classes anywhere in the world. Yoga is a process of continuous learning and experiencing. Hence, this course gives a platform to students to live, think, and act in a yogic way. Also, it helps to walk ahead on the path of happiness and profundity. The formula of “do it and feel it” is used to teach students. The course is not just about training into some physical exercises, rather enriching the lives of all with this science of life called yoga.

Participants receive their certificates of completion of 200-hour yoga teacher training on successful completion of the course which enables them to enroll themselves as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and conduct yoga classes at a place of their choice.

Asana (yoga poses)
Pranayama (yogic breathing exercises)
Shatkriya (yoga cleansing actions)
Bandhas (yoga energy locks)
Mudra (the yogic body gestures)
Yoga Nidra (dynamic meditation)
Chakra Dharana (chakra purification technique)
Nad Anusandhan (meditation on sound and music)
In doing so, students can implement the knowledge of yoga which they acquire at the yoga teacher training program, towards benefiting themselves and others.
Course contents / syllabus
The syllabus of the course has been designed to achieve the above-mentioned objectives in the complete curriculum. The course is divided into four modules for four weeks and each module will be complementary to its successor. The approach of study is from beginners to advanced level. Starting with the elementary practices, the course will cover the advanced levels towards the last modules. Students will be given exposure to the yogic discipline in a conducive and positive attitude so as to prevent any misconceptions or impressions to be formed.
Technique, teaching, method, application, contraindication, and benefits of Sookshma vyaayaam (basic and preparatory movements) – basic and preparatory movements to warm up the body, muscles, and align the joints are taught in the program. These movements help to achieve the full range of motion for the joints, prevent injuries during difficult yoga poses, and develope the body awareness. Pawanmuktasan series 1, 2, 3.
