InterSpiritual Meditation is a seven-step process that offers a framework for people of different traditions – and those of no tradition – to develop a mature contemplative practice that can be engaged in individually and together. Drawn from universal spiritual wisdom, InterSpiritual Meditation honors each person’s unique development, path, and ways of connecting with the Divine and creates a foundation on which to build contemplative communities of people from diverse backgrounds and practices.
This weekend-long workshop will provide an overview of InterSpiritual Meditation. Participants will be offered an opportunity to begin to engage personally with the steps: exploring their motivation for practice, cultivating gratitude, articulating their highest aspirations, deepening their intention to be compassionate and loving, developing mindful awareness and focused presence, cultivating wisdom through practicing meditation or contemplation, and dedicating themselves to being of service.
